Salary: £31,586 – £35,235 per annum.  We also have an excellent pension scheme with an employer contribution of 19%.

The Senior Officer Internal Audit will be responsible for the maintenance and updating of the Principal Risk Register, Internal Audit Recommendations monitor, assisting with drafting of Internal Audit and Risk and Governance reports for Performance Review Committee (PRC) and Audit and Risk Assurance Committee (ARAC).

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Either:

·       i) Hold a degree or an equivalent level 6 qualification and must demonstrate 1 years relevant experience

OR

  • ii) Hold a BTEC Higher or an equivalent level 5 qualification and must demonstrate 2 years relevant experience (Please include dates)

2. Have significant experience in all of the following areas:

  • A) Experience in the maintenance and development of organisational IT Systems
  • B) Experience in the development, production and publishing of organisational reports to a professional standard for Internal / External Stakeholders
  • C) Experience of working successfully in an environment with strict deadlines and high levels of accuracy
  • D) Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders demonstrating effective communication skills.
  • E) Managing analysing and monitoring business information with a view to understanding and driving business process improvement and performance

 

Desirable Criteria

  • 1. Experience in the coordination and delivery of Governance or similarly related activities
  • 2. An understanding of the key processes for performance, compliance and risk management.
