We are currently seeking an administrator for 20 hours per week to work within the Locality, where the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diverse range of programmes supporting children, young people, and families. This role provides essential administrative support to various teams, contributing directly to the delivery of our vital services.

The post is offered on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave until 25 April 2027.

The successful candidate will primarily be working to support the Early Intervention Family Support Service colleagues, Parenting Matters colleagues and Play for All with opportunities to support other services as and when required.

The role is based at the office in Simpson Family Resource Centre, Bangor.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the management team with the preparation of statistics
  • Dealing with petty cash expenditures and receipts
  • Processing referrals received by the service
  • Processing purchase orders and invoices
  • Using Microsoft packages particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, Power BI and Dynamics 365
  • Administrative support to managers and project staff

You will work as part of a team of administrative staff to provide support to our services. Applicants must be able to work on their own initiative. This is a busy role which will require you to have a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise tasks, be proactive and solution focused.

You should have exceptional communication skills with an ability to form positive working relationships quickly. Be solution focused and proactive with an ability to work with hope and optimism.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven Ms Office Experience to include use of IT packages including MS Word and Excel.
  • Experience of managing systems to collect and monitor data
  • Experience of maintaining professional confidentiality when working with staff, service users and other agencies.
