Employers for Disability NI was honoured to speak at the Belfast Solicitors’ Association 80th Anniversary Gala in Belfast City Hall on Saturday night, 10th June 2023. We are privileged that Employers for Disability NI was chosen as its Charity Partner for 2023.

Sincere thanks to the Chair of Belfast Solicitors’ Association, Sarah Wilson, who was instrumental to our involvement with the Association. Also to our Board Member, Emma Patterson from BBC, who helped us engage Screen NI’S Joseph Scott to produce a short video about Employers for Disability NI.  This is the first time we have been nominated as a Charity Partner, and our first video to profile Employers for Disability NI, so, needless to say, we are thrilled!

Thanks also to Ian Lawther, Business Support Clerk with Belfast City Council, who spoke on the video about his experience with Employers for Disability NI as a disabled person, and to Paula Ludlow, HR Services Manager with Translink, who described Translink’s involvement as a longstanding member and Lead Partner.
