Fundraising Success: the stories so far…

October 2017:

 

A massive thanks to Down GAA County Board for allowing us to collect at the recent county final in Pairc Esler, Newry.  We raised over £400.

Thanks also to our volunteers for their help on the day and to the generosity of the supporters at the match.

September 2017:

 

We are extremely grateful for a very generous donation of £500 from Kilbroney Vintage Show and Newry Lions Club, part of the proceeds the Kilbroney Vintage Show which took place in June 2017.

May 2017:

 

E2A Inclusive Theatre featured Employers for Disability NI at their opening gala performance of Oliver! the Muscial.  A great evening’s entertainment and over £180 collected.  Thanks so much for their support.

April 2017:

 

We had a very entertaining evening of film, fancy dress and funky moves!  Mamma Mia Movie Night in Newcastle Community Cinema attracted a big crowd and we raised over £800.  Thanks to all who sponsored prizes and helped in any way.

December 2016:

 

Belfast City Council: Three fabulous Belfast City Council employees – Catherine Christy, Alison Long and Les McCloy – took on the Todd’s Leap Zip Line Challenge on Saturday 19th November and raised an amazing £1000!  With Gift Aid that will rise to as much as £1250.  We cannot thank them enough!

Business in the Community:

A massive thanks to Business in the Community who have made a very generous £100 donation from their Dress-Down Fund as part of our 25th anniversary fundraising drive.  This is so much appreciated by the staff and Board of Employers for Disability NI.  Every penny will be put to good use in supporting our members and employees in helping disabled people get and keep employment.

A huge thanks and appreciation to BT for kick starting our member fundraising drive with a generous donation from their employee charity fund.  The campaign celebrates 25 years of the work of Employers for Disability NI and this will help us continue our work.  This is a wonderful start for us and we are very grateful.
