Assistant Principal Officer Customer Excellence Unit

Salary: £36,124 – £41,511 annum.  We also have an excellent pension scheme with an employer contribution of 19%.

Reporting directly to the Customer Excellence Manager, the Assistant Principal Officer will provide detailed operational and functional support in the development and delivery of a number of strands relating to Housing Services in the area of Customer Excellence.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • 1. i) Hold a degree level qualification (level 6) or equivalent AND have a minimum of at least 2 years relevant* experience

OR

  • ii) Hold a level 5 qualification in Housing AND have a minimum of at least 2 years relevant* experience

OR

  • iii) Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development or experiential learning AND have a minimum of at least 3 years relevant* experience (Please include dates)

**Relevant experience must either be directly related to housing management or have been gained within a customer support environment

2. Candidates must demonstrate significant relevant experience in all of the following areas:

  • A) Effective written and verbal communication skills, including drafting reports and demonstrating effective negotiation skills
  • B) Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders towards shared goals
  • C) Developing, reviewing, implementing and/or delivery of strategies, policies, procedures and systems
  • 3. Possess a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport that enables them to meet the requirements of the post in full

 

Desirable Criteria

·         1. Previous experience of leading, supporting and mentoring others

·         2. Previous experience of analysing and interpreting data and managing complex information to improve service provision

·         3. Hold a recognised professional Housing qualification
