JOB TITLE Employability Executive
Fixed Term contract to December 2027
LOCATION Bridge House/Hybrid
JOB SALARY LEVEL £30K per annum
REPORTS TO Inclusion Manager

 

This is an exciting and challenging role which will enable the right candidate to manage and deliver a suite of employability initiatives designed to engage employers to support individuals into employment.

The Employability Executive will help lead our efforts in supporting businesses to engage those facing barriers to work (including long-term unemployed, people with convictions and refugees and asylum seekers) to gain the skills and experience they need to become work ready. The role will involve partnership working with other organisations; campaigning to change the attitudes of employers to create more inclusive workplaces; and helping to remove barriers in recruitment processes.

As Employability Executive, you must have:

  • exceptional communication and relationship building skills
  • experience of delivering employability projects
  • the ability to engage meaningfully with the business community
  • a sound understanding of the employability/economic landscape in Northern Ireland
  • an ability to identify new opportunities and potential future funding
