Head of Corporate Investigation

Salary: £51,802- £61,609 per annum. We also have an excellent pension scheme with an employer contribution of 19%.
To support the Director of Finance, Audit and Assurance to deliver an effective and efficient corporate investigation service for the Housing Executive, ensuring a professional, proactive and customer orientated approach in support of Housing Executive objectives.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A) Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent Level 7* qualification (e.g. Advanced Professional Certificate in Investigation Practice).
OR
- B) Can demonstrate equivalent underpinning knowledge which must include a relevant Level 6* qualification plus continuing professional development e.g. accreditation with a relevant professional body, Counter Fraud or Investigation qualifications.
- 2. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience managing an investigation service including conducting complex investigations in relation to fraud and whistleblowing. (Please include dates)
- 3. Fully conversant with legislation relevant to the role.
- Relevant experience in at least 4 of the 5 areas below:
- A) Providing specialist counter-fraud advice and guidance on complex matters to senior management
- B) Leading/influencing others to ensure the successful and timely completion of a demanding caseload
- C) Developing and implementing policies and procedures relating to fraud and whistleblowing
- D) Liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders including government agencies
- E) Managing and reporting on performance to senior management, including investigative casework
- 5. Possess a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport that enables them to meet the requirements of the post in full
Desirable Criteria
- Current professional membership of a relevant body OR can demonstrate ability to obtain this within 1 year of commencement.
- Managing a team in the delivery of investigative services.
- Experience of Court procedures, including giving evidence in court.
