The postholder will be an integral member of the Learning and Development Support team working to support delivery of all Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) Learning & Development Centre (LDC) training courses and services and to help ensure an efficient and effective day-to-day running of the LDC training site.

They will support and assist in the maintenance of buildings and resources to ensure that equipment and facilities are available as required, and also provide day-to-day supervision for the Training Support Technician team.

Hours of work;
Currently 36¼ hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
A Flexible Working Hours Scheme is in operation.

There is currently one permanent post based at based at NIFRS Learning & Development College, 120 Dungannon Road, Cookstown, BT80 9BD.  This recruitment and selection process will also be used to fill future vacancies, a reserve list will be created for 12 months should any additional fixed term or permanent vacancies arise (offers of posts will be made in merit order).

Salary:
The salary scale is SO2.  The salary range is currently £36,124 – £37,938 per annum.
