What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy?
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a relatively short-term therapy recommended by the Department of Health for people experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including stress, depression, anxiety, panic, PTSD, anger, and relationship difficulties. CBT helps people address and manage unhelpful thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a practical, user-friendly way, to bring about positive changes in their lives.
This service is open to any adults and the therapist also has many years of experience in understanding and making reasonable adjustments for clients with a wide range of disabilities. Sessions take place in the Banbridge office (daytime) and Zoom sessions can also be arranged (day or evening) if preferred.
The therapist is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adheres to their professional and ethical standards.
