Senior Finance Officer – Onside Evolution Programme

Salary: £37,280 – £42,839 per annum.  We also have an excellent pension scheme with an employer contribution of 19%.

The post-holder will be responsible for managing the Housing Executives financial requirements for the Onside Evolution Peace Plus Programme in conjunction with programme partners and in line with our vision and values.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

·         1.i) Hold a relevant* degree or equivalent** Professional or Technical Qualification PLUS 1 year’s relevant experience***

OR

·         ii) Hold a relevant* BTEC Higher or equivalent** Professional or Technical Qualification PLUS 2 years’ relevant experience***

*Relevant qualifications must include a significant element of accounting/book-keeping

***Relevancy will be determined with due regard to the duties and level of responsibilities set out in the job description for this role

·         2. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience of financial oversight of large-scale**** projects with funded bodies such as Peace Plus (Please include dates)

****Large scale equates to minimum annual budget of £500k

3. Candidates must have experience in a minimum of 4 of the following 5 areas:

·         A) Working effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a shared outcome

·         B) Contributing to monitoring and management of budgets in accordance with policies

·         C) Interpreting data and managing information to provide reports, returns and analytical information to high standards and within deadlines

·         D) Knowledge of community-based project delivery and the application of good governance

·         E) Contributing to service delivery and improvement activities

·         4. Candidates must possess a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport that enable them to meet the requirements of the post in full
