Land and Regeneration Manager

Salary: £43,693 – £49,764 per annum.  We also have an excellent pension scheme with an employer contribution of 19%.

The Land and Regeneration Manager will contribute to the delivery of the Land and Regeneration Units priorities to build sustainable communities through effective place shaping and land use supporting NIHE business delivery and our vision and values.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Applicants must

·         i) Possess a degree (Level 6*) or equivalent level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. land law, land and estate management, regeneration, public policy / administration) and can demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience

OR

·         ii) Possess a HND (Level 5*) or equivalent level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. land law, land and estate management, regeneration, public policy / administration) and can demonstrate a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience

OR

·         iii) Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development / experiential learning and demonstrate at least 5 years relevant experience (Please include dates)

It will be the responsibility of the applicant to demonstrate equivalency.  Relevancy will be determined with due regard to the duties and level of responsibilities set out in the job description for this role.

·         2. Can demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience working in a regeneration environment reporting to a senior management team.  Experience should include working with other disciplines to plan and bring forward regeneration schemes, sale of land or property, and management of land assets. (Please include dates)

3. Can demonstrate significant relevant experience in at least 5 of the 6 areas listed below:

·         A) Working with title, quality assuring land transactions and supervision of conveyancying process in line with policy requirements.

·         B) Interpreting relevant policy and statutory requirements to make appropriate decisions to meet the needs of customers.

·         C) Working effectively with others as either a member or leader of a team to achieve a shared outcome.

·         D) Interpreting data, compiling reports and managing complex information in order to understand and improve performance

·         E) Providing effective services to meet the individual needs of customers and key stakeholders.

·         F) Building the skills,ability and confidence in others to enable them to independently solve problems and identify practical solutions.

4. Possess a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport that will permit the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.  *
