Assistant Manager – Finance Systems

Salary: £36,124- £41,511 per annum.  We also have an excellent pension scheme with an employer contribution of 19%.

Assisting the Finance Systems Manager in running the Systems Operational Team.

 

To assist with the management and support of the Integrated Financial Management System and other Finance systems.

 

Assisting the Finance Projects and Reporting manager to implement projects and to provide reports and dashboards.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Possess one of the following qualifications:

·         The foundation papers of a CCAB body (or equivalent).

·         A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.

OR

·         Can demonstrate 5 years’ relevant experience in a Financial Systems environment.

 

*Refer to Qualifications Framework for equivalencies. It will be the responsibility of the applicant to demonstrate equivalency

  • 2. Can demonstrate 3 years’ relevant experience working within an accounting / Financial Systems environment

3. Can demonstrate 2 years’ experience in 3 of the following areas:

  • A) Experience Managing and supporting financial systems.
  • B) Experience in taking a lead role (Project Manager/Team Leader role) in significant business improvement projects.
  • C) Experience in implementing new systems or business processes within a Finance environment, ensuring appropriate controls and enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • D) Experience using report writing tools eg Business Object, PowerBI

 

Desirable Criteria

·         1. Experience using PRINCE2 project management methodology.
