Salary; £31,586 – £35,235 per annum.  We also have an excellent pension scheme with an employer contribution of 19%.

To assist in the effective administration and delivery of Land & Regeneration Services business unit objectives, core activities and policies and procedures including general administrative duties related to the work of Development Services; Land & Housing Analytics; Land Asset Management & Policy Development; Rural Development; Housing Regeneration and Place-Shaping in line with our vision and values.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • 1. i) Candidates must hold a degree or an equivalent level qualification (Level 6*), in a relevant subject (e.g. land law, land and estate management, regeneration, public policy / administration) and can demonstrate a minimum of one year’s relevant experience, (e.g. working in a regeneration or housing function, conveyancing (legal services) or public administration).

OR

  • ii)  Candidates must hold a HND or equivalent level qualification (Level 5*) and can demonstrate a minimum of two years’ relevant experience, e.g. working in a regeneration or housing function, conveyancing (legal services) or public administration.

OR

  • iii) Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development or experiential learning and demonstrate at least three years’ relevant experience (Please include dates)

 

It will be the responsibility of the applicant to demonstrate equivalency.  Relevancy will be determined with due regard to the duties and level of responsibilities set out in the job description for this role.

2. For the purposes of shortlisting, applicants must demonstrate their relevant experience, depending on their level of qualification, by reference to 3 out of the 4 following areas:

  • i) Working and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide effective services to meet the needs of customers and key stakeholders.
  • ii) Experience in the implementation of policies and procedures to make appropriate decisions to meet the business needs.
  • iii) Experience in interpreting data and using IT systems to compile reports and manage complex information.
  • iv) Experience of producing economic appraisals/papers for approval to support business decisions.
