To provide professional and timely legal advice and assistance and legal representation in relation to complex, high value contract and commercial matters, including associated claims and disputes, ensuring the provision of a high quality legal service to all levels of the organisation.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

·         1. Possess a degree or equivalent (Level 6*) qualification.

OR

·         Level 5* qualification or equivalent

AND

·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a general administrative environment

• 2. Be a solicitor of the Court of Judicature of Northern Ireland qualified to practice in Northern Ireland.
• 3. Can demonstrate at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience providing legal advice and/or representation relating to complex and/or high value contract and commercial matters, including claims and disputes. (Please include dates)

4. Possess a current driving licence or have access to a form of transport that enables them to meet the requirements of the post in full.  *

1. Can demonstrate relevant experience in any of the following areas of law:-

·         The application of the Public Procurement Regulations and related disputes

·         Employment matters

·         High value litigation or complex or significant litigation within the Chancery, High, or Judicial Review Courts
